PLANNING: SYDNEY'S COSTUME

As a group, we needed to consider what individual character was going to wear as each character has their own significance and importance in the trailer, physically as well as emotionally.  Sydney, as her main scene in the trailer shows her going out for a evening outing, we all came to a conclusion that she would be wearing a dress with heels in the colour black, as black is symbolic of darkness and evil and this theme is carried throughout the trailer. Sydney is involved in a big operation, selling illegal passports to refugees and as result gains a large sum of money. This is the reason for her voice of clothing and there is a scene showing her dropping shopping bags containing valuables that any girl would dream of having.
